Around & about 20% of the EVERYTHING 2.0 index is generated through my own research. Most of the websites I've indexed were found in the following sources:

Buzzshout* - Most valuable user input of all lists dependent on that
Downloadsquad - Deep reviews; focus on downloadable apps
Econsultant - The source of about 1/3d of my original list
Emilychang - Lists new Web 2.0 companies
Everything 2.0Most comprehensive
Genbeta* - Newsy, deep
Killerstartups - Digg start-ups
Mashable - Best source on mash-ups
Momb - Most actual info in the world; even report on stealth sites
Monkeybites - Deep
Ñblog - Newsy, deep
Programmableweb** - Excellent reference website, main source on APIs and mash-ups
Solutionwatch* - Good reviews
Techcrunch - Hottest big news source, gossip, deep
Webware - Reviews of web apps
Wwwhatsnew - Newsy
