Another petition I fully endorse: read this article by Pete Cashmore (I never liked Alexa, anyway):
"This lawsuit, however, takes Amazon from “bullying behavior” to “complete reputation implosion”. Because it was filed on March 26th in a Federal District court, Amazon knew at the Web 2.0 Expo that it was promoting the openness of its web services while trying to shut out others from using its data. What’s more, the filing was made after the site conceded and changed its name - trademark infringement doesn’t apply. So if you were planning to use any of Amazon’s web services, may we suggest you consider some alternatives? And if you’re using the Alexa toolbar, please uninstall it. After all, isn’t Amazon stealing your proprietary surfing data?"
