Dutch Web 2.0 news blog Blueace has closed the nomination phase for the 1st Dutch Web 2.0 Awards. Voting will start tomorrow.
It has helped me to make good on some omissions (Hyves!), and to spot a few interesting new initiatives with international growth potential (cf. the 3 articles below).
My Dutch Web 2.0 winners for 2006 are:
- Brandgossip - B2B relevance, revenue potantial
- Ebuddy - huge international success thru simple virallity
- Fleck - product might evolve into something just as good as their launch campaign
- Internet Address Book - good concept, well executed
- Mendix - offering the Holy Grail of SOA
- Start12 - understands that after Surfing and Searching, Selection will be the new trend
- Swoot - brilliant app, huge international & revenue potantials
- Whyrobbierocks - great concept, international potential
