MORPHOLOGY 2.0 (4) - Inspired by uberbrands & other branding conventions
In an earlier chapter of this BRANDING 2.0 exercise, I've already identified that a series of 2.0-trademarks with doubled consonants must have been inspired by Digg's success. Some of the other megabrands have generated a morphologic following too.
Obviously, these entrepreneurs hope that copycatting elements of these names will bring them some cheap fame, or business luck.
Their chances on getting huge invoices from their lawyers are probably higher.

Leaving out a vowel is certainly the most productive way to work around the non-availability of suitable domain names. In principle it can be a good & acceptable branding property.
